Q. what are the earring findings made from?
A. all earrings are new gold/silver plated, so won't give you sore ears.
Q. who draws the illustrations on the earrings/plates?
A. we do! they're hand drawn directly onto the earrings/plates/cups, so they may vary slightly. The ceramics are food & dishwasher safe, but please handwash to prolong the life. Please try not to get your illustrated earrings wet as they are not completely watertight. they are all made in limited quantities.
Q. would you make something especially for me?
A. of course! if you have seen something you would like changing a bit, or maybe something completely different, made for a special occasion for example, please get in contact & we can discuss details all items are one offs anyway, but this is your chance to get something unique & tailored to you!
Q. can I wash my cushion?
A. cushions have an envelope back so you can remove the cushion to wash the cover. I recommend hand washing the cover in a gentle detergent & not in the washing machine to prolong the life & colour of the fabric. If you do wash it in the washing machine, please turn it inside out & put on a cool wash. dry flat & then iron any crinkles out.
Q. how much is postage?
A. small, light items such as cards, badges & magnets are sent by Standard First Class & the postage is included.
postage is by Royal Mail First Class which is £2 for items under £20 & for items over £20 is £3.50 and is sent by Royal Mail First Class Recorded Delivery. Items are sent 2-3 working days of purchase. (unless a custom order, then we will let you know an estimated arrival date) if you would like to upgrade to special delivery please state at time or purchase & we will send you invoice for an additional £2. goods will come carefully wrapped & padded to ensure safe arrival, however we cannot be help responsible for breakage/damage in transit.
Q. do you ship worldwide?
A. we now ship worldwide! woop! overseas postage costs £4.00, items are sent by International Signed For. Royal Mail quote delivery time to be between 2-5 days, but please allow up to 7 working days for delivery and up to 2 weeks for deliveries outside the EU. for international delivery please note if you are purchasing an item from outside the EU you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the package reaches your country. any additional charges for customs clearance is your responsibility; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. customs policies vary from country to country, so please contact your local customs office for further information.
Q. can you giftwrap my order?
A. good news! all our jewellery items now come wrapped in tissue & inside a gift box, at no extra cost. beautufully presented & ready to give away, or maybe even a little present to yourself!
Q. what forms of payment do you accept?
A. we gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or regular account payments all through PayPal.
Q. how secure is this store?
A. wePayPal for payments, and PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). we keep no details on file.
Q. do I need a PayPal account to purchase from this store?
A. no, you are not required to have a PayPal account to purchase from this store. (just click on the option to pay with a credit/debit card at the checkout!) although if you already have a PayPal account you may use it.
Q. what if I need to return something?
A. refunds/exchanges are available in the unlikely event that you are not happy with your edwina.simone purchase. please contact us within 7 days of recieving & we will do our best to resolve the problem. all items returned for exchange/refund must have all the original packaging and return to us in its original condition, unless faulty. earrings however, due to hygeine reasons cannot be returned, unless faulty.
